Graham R. Taylor is a Principal at Marquis Advisory Group in San Francisco. Mr. Taylor provides strategic advisory services to a variety of clients, including global financial institutions, venture capital groups, and e-commerce and technology companies. Graham R. Taylor joined Marquis in 2008, bringing with him an extensive legal background, as well as experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and equity placements.
Prior to joining Marquis Advisory Group, Mr. Taylor served as a Partner with Seyfarth Shaw LLP, Altheimer & Gray, and LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae, LLP. He spent the majority of his career at Pillsbury Winthrop LLP (formerly Pillsbury, Madison & Sutro LLP) in San Francisco. He worked as an Associate for four years before being promoted to Partner, after which he remained with the firm for another 18 years.
Before moving to San Francisco, Graham R. Taylor spent three years in New York, at Coudert Brothers LLP. Originally from Australia, Mr. Taylor received his undergraduate degree in Law from the University of New South Wales. Upon graduating, he worked in Sydney for two years, as an Associate at Freehill Hollingdale & Page, before moving to the United States to attend Yale Law School.
Since settling in San Francisco, Graham R. Taylor has been appointed to a number of prestigious committees. A longstanding member of the San Francisco-Shanghai Sister City Committee, he also spent many years as Director and President of the Australian-American Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Taylor's other roles have included Trustee of the United States Council for International Business and Member of the International Tax Committee, State Bar of California Taxation Section.
