Lawyer with over 10 years' experience as in-house counsel in multinational companies in three
different countries, coupled with a management role in the last four years.
I have an in-depth knowledge of the energy, finance and investment contractual practices.
In addition to a broad general experience as in-house counsel, I have gained a specific expertise in the development and construction of energy projects (including engineering agreements, supply and distribution contracts, PPA, EPC, O&M agreements, JV, MOUs), in the corporate and project-financing arrangements as well as in the real estate investment funds' practices.
I am experienced in the international environmental and social safeguard law and policies, with specific reference to the Equator Principle, the IFC and EBRD performance standards.
Since 2014, I hold a management position as Head of the Eastern MED legal department of Vestas Wind System (Italy, Greece, MENA Region), leading a team of three people.
In May 2017 I have started a LLM in Banking and Finance with the University of London, to be completed in May 2019.

2018:
  • Public tender for a 400MW EPC Wind Power project in Saudi Arabia;
  • 2 different EPC Wind Power projects amounting in total to 103,5MW in Jordan, financed
    in project financing by IFC and other lenders, requiring compliance with the Equator
    Principle and the IFC performance standards.
    2017:
  • 1 EPC Wind Power project amounting in total to 44.85MW in Jordan, financed in project
    financing by EBRD and other lenders, requiring compliance with the Equator Principle and
    the EBRD performance standards;
  • 1 Supply & Installation project amounting to 172MW in Brazil;
  • 1 Supply & Installation project amounting to 1,7MW in Barhain.
    2016:
  • Particiption to the Italian 800MW wind auction, with 55% of the available capacity was
    secured;
  • 1 EPC Wind Power project amounting in total to 89,1MW in Jordan, financed in project
    financing by Kexim and other lenders, requiring compliance with the Equator Principle;
  • Private tender for a 50MW EPC Wind Power project in Oman;
  • Public tender for a 250MW EPC Wind Power project in Egypt.
    2015:
  • Public tender for a 120MW EPC Wind Power project in Egypt;
  • 1 Supply & Installation project amounting to 90MW in Brazil;
  • 1 Supply & Installation project amounting to 24MW in Chile.
    2014:
  • 1 Supply & Installation project amounting to 88MW in Chile;
  • Public tender for a 220MW EPC Wind Power project in Egypt.
    2013:
  • Succesfull closing of a settlment agreement with one of the main oil & gas player in Italy
    for the payment of pending invoices amounto to more than 6M€.
    2010-2012:
  • Closing of a Joint Venture between Fortress Investment Group and Pioneer Investment
    Management SGRpa for the contribution, from Pioneer in Torre SGR, of a going concern
    worth more than €1,5B;
  • Dismissal process of a trophy building worth more than €200M.

Main Achievements
2015-2018
-20% reduction in the legal costs by optimizaion of the external counsel activities by
negotiation of frame agreements and investment in the internal resources.
2014-2018
  • 35% increase in the internal stakeholders satisfaction rate by reducing the legal
    department response time thanks to the focus on the core activities.
    2013:
  • Improvement in the internal stakeholder's satisfaction rate and reduction of the legal
    department's response time.

LLM - Banking and Finance Law (ongoing)

January 2017 to May 2019
The course is comprised of four different modules, each of them formed by four different exams (16 exams in total). I started the course on May 2017 and I expect to graduate in May 2019 (4 exams per session).
