Coordinator of the Adaptation Fund Project '’Enhancing Resilience of Communities to the Adverse Effects of Climate Change on Food Security in Mauritania'' (Web site: http://parsacc.yolasite.com) working With WFP as Multilateral Implementing Entity and the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development as Executing Entity. Main tasks :
Drafting of annual project plans and budgets
Ensure a good level of communication and cooperation between the project and all interested parties at national, regional and community level.
Supervise and support the implementation of annual plans
The daily supervision of the work of assistants and consultants
The drafting of terms of reference of assessment studies and of consultations
Coordinate the technical assistance together with the regional teams
Supervise and facilitate the monitoring of activities of the project and performance indicators in order to track project results.
Ensure the preparation and release of quality reports from the regional teams of the project
Prepare annual reports
Supervise budget execution and ensure that it is conforming to the agreed rules and plans.
