DayStar Properties is a condominium development and management company in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica. We made 3 resorts operational in one year, 3 others were in construction and 1 resort was in the planning. These 7 projects have a total of 700 condominiums which is a part from the 2000 ready planned condominiums total. Having 700 condominiums means having 900 owners, this involves handling of their interests and communications and all communication with the guests on 4 star hotel level. My Philosophy is creating an effective consumer centric organization, I am a strong believer of this and my experience is every time that it's effective and profitable. My main responsibilities were setting up a good operation, we installed a communication structure with customers, staff and owners, On the marketing, the rental and sales part; we created new sophisticated websites with a company design. We connected Reservations, marketing/ Sales, IT as one team with perfect communications to create ideas and make them very effective. We brought HR to international standards. The IT department; new communication systems, WIFI network over the town from project to project and a change from outsourcing to in-house jobs which saved a lot of money. CS; we created a very motivated and knowledgeable team, which created very good relations with owners and guests, Constructions; I had the final control on construction of all projects, solve problems with the constructor and made changes for cost effective maintenance for the future. On the eco side we created developments with complete private waste water recycling systems and clean water systems. Rainwater basins for the gardens, power saving systems.
