  • Six month contract, three months remote work, and then several projects with Australia's leading hospitality and events HR agency. Clients included The Event Centre, Marquee Sydney, Level Eighteen Coffee Catering and fine dining restaurants at The Star.
  • Screened thousands of resumes and interviewed hundreds of candidates over the phone, while also carrying out daily operations and reception duties. Pass rate of 85-100%.
  • By sourcing free of charge advertising platforms and improving our use of social media channels, increased the number of candidate applications significantly. Created ads to share across 80+ Facebook groups, enabling us to reach our monthly quota of 500 applications for nightlife roles in two days.
  • Created photo and video content for our website, printed material and social media accounts. Documented our staff at many large-scale events, office gatherings and interviews. Edited 10+ videos - instructional, interviews and montages, and managed two Instagram accounts remotely while abroad.
  • Interned for Stoke Travel, one of the fastest growing travel companies.
  • Managed two Instagram profiles concurrently. On main account saw an organic increase in followers from 2800 to 5500 in three months, and likes from 100 to 200-500 each post.
  • Photographer on over 15 Barcelona boat parties. Edited all images in Adobe Lightroom and posted on Facebook, with reach of 2000-4000 people per album.
  • Managed social media during the Breakout Challenge. Was videographer/photographer on a DSLR camera, and also created Instagram and Snapchat stories which reached 500-1000 viewers.
  • Represented the university and specifically, the Bachelor of Marketing & Media - upholding high standards of personal conduct and a positive image of its programs and brand.
  • Advised prospective students via 20-minute promotional presentations, career markets, phone calls, promotional material and campus tours. Informed them about my degree, all undergraduate courses, extracurricular activities, alternative pathways, facilities, international opportunities and more.
  • Assisted with professional recruitment events and graduation ceremonies through admin tasks, ushering, and registering guests. Collated important documentation for graduations unit prior to ceremonies.
  • Provided additional customer service and administrative support during busy enrolment periods. Solved and responded to student enquiries and issues face-to-face, over the phone, and via email.
  • Adapted to diverse short term roles as a freelancer. Included waitressing at weddings, restaurants and parties, and a sales/social media support position for Australia's leading supplier of merchandise, Cubic Promote.
  • Interned with a growing startup that manages Airbnb properties, located at the Fishburners.
    Assisted with daily operations and communications, as well as the host community meet-up.
  • Product demonstrations, merchandising, sampling and flyering for companies such as Airwick, Colgate, Cadbury, NRMA, STA Travel, Optus, and Telstra.
  • Completed administrative work for Australia’s premier entertainment, hospitality and leisure company over the busy Christmas period. Was mentored by the Director of Sales through the Lucy Mentoring Program.
  • Built resilience and sales skills through retail and neighbourhood marketing. Promoted child sponsorship by initiating conversations, storytelling and overcoming barriers.
  • Managed sections of the high pressure restaurant, including the bar. Order-taking, making and distributing food and drinks (including barista-style coffee), carrying three plates, handling cash, managing orders and phone calls.
