The Apareció Foundation was conceived to promote diversity, accessibility and fellowship opportunities to advance academic achievement for low-income high-potential Chicago Public School female students through strategic partnerships with community-based organizations, local government agencies, business leaders, and educators throughout the Chicago, by raising funds for a five-year scholarship program designed to accelerate achievement for these students.
