Investigating the use of MRI for adaptive protontherapy treatment.
The aim of this thesis is to investigate whether magnetic resonnance imaging can help to reduce treatment side effect by reducing the margins around the tumor in the workflow of adaptive proton treatment. This thesis is founded by Télévie (belgian association against cancer) and realised in the UCL with a strong collaboration with IBA and the St-Luc hospital.
