Located in Melbourne and within the Customer Service Business Unit, Fabien was engaged as a Technical Officer HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) for the national projects. He was responsible for maintaining HVAC configuration management, supporting the local engineering and purchasing team and providing onsite maintenance to customers in Australia and New-Zealand for tram, metro, high speed locomotives, and regional trains. He was also involved in the DCU (Door Control Unit) maintenance for the local projects.
Part of the Brake and Couplers CoC (Centre of Competence) in the UK, Fabien was a Project Engineer in Faiveley Transport UK. He was responsible for providing technical support to customers for brakes and couplers systems for all trains worldwide. The technical support includes raising condition assessments report, developing test & repair procedures, creating engineering documentation & procedures to provide a technical assessment and commercial proposal to customers.
Fabien was engaged as a Package manager for the Driverless LISA line extension project for the Airport of Paris. Within Siemens Mechanical and Civil Engineering service, Fabien was responsible for all aspects of the project management for the design, testing, control, planning and validation by a sub-contractor to manufacture safety walkway and cable passage along the metro line located within the security controlled area of the airport. Fabien was also responsible for other maintenance projects including technical study of work train, engineering review for the metro lifting solution in depot, feasibility study of heating by geothermal for track defrost on bridge and Drawing creation to demonstrate the Helsinki Platform Screen Doors disposition and quantity requirement.
Fabien was responsible for providing technical solutions for major customers in the vineyard domain. He created product requirement, technical proposal, product specification, drawings and manufacturing instructions, process and procedures and prototype.
