- Manage budgets
- Develop external relationships with contacts suitable, for example, auditors, lawyers, bankers, and statutory bodies
- Identify, examine and analyze the operational improvement potential as appropriate and make proposals for operational changes (policies, procedures, etc...)
- Put in place cost accounting, management accounting, management of supervisory control and management of the information system
- Liaise with the Auditors to ensure the annual audit is carried out in a timely manner
- Search and present the factors that influence the performance of the company; develop financial management mechanisms that minimize the financial risks

- Formulate strategic business and long-term plans
- In partnership with the operational teams (production, trade, supply) analyze the financial impacts on the results and prepare the updated periodic planned results including determinations of the keys to success for upcoming plans
- Prepare monthly analyses of costs and issued comparison with previous month and budget; Provide explanations and propose solutions to mitigate risks and maximize opportunities
