Shell UK Exploration & Production
October 2000 to July 2002
  • Supported three Asset Managers and the General Manager of the Gas Supply Group with business analysis and strategy development.
  • Developed the strategic planning document for all of Shell’s operations in the Southern North Sea.
  • Coordinated annual business planning cycle for the Southern North Sea. Developed risk based production targets enabling the organisation to meet production targets which had been missed in preceding years.
  • Coordinated annual McKinsey benchmarking exercise, identifying areas for improvement, targets and gap closure plans.
  • Developed the annual Opex target and 5 year Opex forecast.
