Eric Garland

A resident of Lufkin, Texas, and a graduate of Golden Gate Theological Seminary in San Francisco, California, Eric Thomas Garland most recently served as interim family pastor of Denman Avenue Baptist Church in Lufkin. During this time, he regularly preached to more than 300 congregants while guiding the church’s children and youth ministry. In his work with Denman Avenue Baptist Church, Eric Garland leveraged nearly a decade of pastoral experience, including previous roles as family pastor with the First Baptist Church in Huffman, Texas, and children and family pastor with the First Baptist Church in Conroe, Texas.

In addition to his work as a pastor and ministry leader, Mr. Eric Thomas Garland has led several partnership missions to locations in the United States and around the world, including Honduras, Taiwan, and the Philippines. His background also includes extensive preaching experience, including gatherings as diverse as open-air religious revivals, church worship services, and youth camps.
