Emma Whitner attends the University of Florida, where she received the University of Florida Athletic Scholarship and is working toward a bachelor of science in business administration. In addition to her athletic pursuits, Emma Whitner takes academics seriously. She has made the dean's list and achieved SEC academic honors three times. Her other recent activities include serving as a mergers and acquisitions intern at the Heritage Capital Group in summer of 2019. This involved assisting the branch's head of investment banking services.
Emma Whitner currently competes in Division 1 swimming and diving for the Florida Gators. As a freshman, she participated beside 88 other divers in the 2018 NCAA Region B Diving Zones. It was her first time trying to earn a place in the NCAA Championship, and in her best event she attained a score of 212.05 in the platform event, placing 14th. More recently, she placed ninth as a sophomore at the NCAA Diving Zones. Her combined final and prelim score was 507.65. For her efforts, Ms. Whitner has attained All-American accolades twice from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.
