- Lead the assembly manufacturing engineering team preparing manufacturing data package (manufacturing bill of materials and Control documents/work instructions) and allocate the work load and responsibilities of team members.
- Represent the manufacturing engineering department for different projects (AV8, OMAN, STA) at CRB (change review board) and CIB ( change implementation board) meetings. (evaluation of product change requests in terms of cost, schedule, feasibility, to decide effectivity and implementation plans of the changes to be implemented)
- Assign make/buy policies for assembly parts according to the capacity and capability of the company.
- Support production line tooling and equipment to support manufacturing processes.
- Decide tool requirements and tool design requirements for assembly/subassembly operations and installations.
- Provide technical support to the team members in solving the problems in assembly line.
- Take part in special projects for the improvement of work instruction and CIB systems.
- Establish, monitor and present Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure performance in different areas of the Assmebly Department.
- Collect, analyze, summarize and present manufacturing data to the management.
- Represent the Department of Manufacturing Engineering at the IPT (integrated project team) and liaise between other operational units and the Department of Manufacturing Engineering according to the project schedule( AV8 Mortar Vehicle and STA Tracked Gun Carrier Vehicle).
