  • Support the Area Coordinators (ACs) in the supervision and coordination of the projects implemented by IRC in Whole Syria to ensure the timely implementation of quality programming that meet the assessed need of the beneficiaries.
  • Support the field project teams in the design, planning, implementation, monitoring and adjustment of project activities, with a special focus on ensure the timely and effective day-to-day implementation of program activities.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff and assist the ACs to ensure the capacity building of IRC staff, and volunteers. In addition to promoting coordination between Syria-based staff and colleagues based in Jordan – Amman office.
  • Remotely manage and oversee activities of the IRC legal services program in northern and southern Syria by providing daily support and guidance to field teams to ensure high-quality programming.
  • Ensure best practices, appropriate legal guidance, research recommendations, and donor requirements are incorporated into all program strategies.
  • Recruit and provide technical training to the field team, providing extensive support to Legal Officers on legal case counseling and management.
  • Develop detailed project work plans that are aligned with donor timelines and targets and follow IRC procedures for implementation.
  • Prepare detailed program activity, procurement and spending plans well in advance of program activities to ensure strong cross-departmental coordination, particularly with finance, supply chain and the MEAL team
  • Managing the startup and implementation of the Civil Documentation project conducted in Southern Syria remotely
  • Developing awareness raising material and key messaging on civil documentation with a focus on protection related concerns
  • Developing regular civil documentation situation and/or advocacy reports to be disseminated across sector working group actors
  • Supervising the team of Civil Documentation Assistants in Southern Syria including regular monitoring and evaluation of performance and activities
  • Capacity building of Civil Documentation Assistants through remote training and daily supervision
  • Designing capacity building training related to civil documentation and protection concerns associated with civil documentation
  • Supporting the Senior Civil Documentation Assistants to develop strong relationships with community leaders, partners and other stakeholders such as local leaders, health facilities, women’s centers and other community based organizations that would enable the implementation of the Civil Documentation project within the community
  • Developing Civil Documentation assessment tools including key informant interviews and focus group discussion guides, risk analysis, stakeholder mapping tools and similar
  • Analyzing data collected from the teams in Southern Syria and advising on programmatic interventions
  • Maintaining accurate records of the interventions performed by the team in southern Syria and providing regular reports for the unit and M&E team while ensuring the team’s adherence to data security and information management principles
  • Provides direct field support and coaching to staff under his supervision who deliver information services to beneficiaries
  • Ensures the team members' individual understanding of internal SOPs on assistance, Civil Documentation, Registration Processes, Work, and HLP issues, as well as counseling lines on legal and protection issues.
  • Ensures effective identification of cases for protection referrals by his team.
  • Acts as a focal point for community and services' mapping in his assigned geographical area of operation.
  • Provides regular and ad-hoc, verbal and written reports on field trends, including needs and gaps faced by refugees and the operational challenges faced by the team.
  • Proactively provides the management with suggestions on how to increase effectiveness and efficiency of field activities.
  • Facilitation of Group Information Sessions (GIS) for beneficiaries in the local communities to raise awareness about legal and protection issues, which include Civil Documentation, Registration Processes, Work, and HLP Rights.
  • Facilitation of Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with Syrian Community Leaders to get a better understanding of the Syrian community's issues that they face on a daily basis.
  • Mediation sessions as part of the Collaborative Dispute Resolution of ICLA's strategy, to deal with arising conflicts in the local community.
  • Referral of legal cases to known partners, and follow-ups to insure the delivery of service to the beneficiaries.
  • Organizing events for local ICLA activities.
  • Advocacy with Jordanian decision makers to implement a sustainable strategy that addresses daily youth struggles in Jordan.
  • Working as a connecting channel between the Jordanian youth and the United States Department of State in Jordan.
  • To help see youth perspective and advice on programs, US Embassy outreach and projects.
  • Supporting in guiding US projects in Jordan.
  • Designing and delivering projects which touch the daily lives of youth living in Jordan, under certain umberallas.
  • Provision of social counselling and support to shelter program participants, with strong focus on facilitating and supporting positive relations between shelter program landlords and tenants and local communities.
  • Case Management for Syrian Refugees regarding the issuance of their Civil Documentation, Registration Processes, and their HLP Rights.
  • Advocating to other NGOs, community leaders, and local authorities when necessary.
  • Solving arising conflicts using collaborative dispute resolution methods.
  • Monitoring of the general context through regular field access and coordination to identify issues affecting refugees, hosts and inter-community relations.
  • Supervision of distribution for cash/NFIs for shelter program beneficiaries, when available.
  • Community management for IKEA Saudi Arabia profiles on all social
    media channels.
  • Analysis and reporting of social media trends and competitors (Daily, Weekly, & Monthly).
