A longtime resident of greater Chicago, Illinois, Edward Brandon currently lives in East Aurora and instructs young people through the Huntington Learning Center (HLC) in Oswego. His duties with HLC center on the determination of individual academic needs and the delivery of targeted instruction in the areas of reading, writing, and science with the ultimate goal of improving student performance on the SAT and ACT college entrance exams.
Before joining HLC in February of 2018, Edward Brandon served tenures as a Title 1 English language arts interventionist with Yorkville School District 115 and an English teacher with the North Lawndale College Prep High School. He holds active membership in both the National Education Association and the Illinois Education Association.
Outside of the professional arena, Mr. Brandon coaches youth athletics and loves to cheer on the Chicago Cubs and Bears. He is also an avid reader who particularly enjoys the works of Jim Butcher and George R.R. Martin.
