Ed Vergara has worked with Marcus and Millichap in Palo Alto, California, for more than seven years. Between 2015 and 2016 he served the commercial real estate operation as associate vice president of investments before assuming his current role as vice president of investments. In this position he oversees all real estate negotiations, contract writing, capital market research, and interactions with investment banking partners.
Ed Vergara has also functioned as a member of the Vergara and Waxman Group of Marcus and Millichap, during which time he emphasized multi-family property transactions. Drawing on his skills as a licensed attorney, he managed a number of complex real estate purchases involving properties valued up to $20 million.
Prior to joining Marcus and Millichap, Mr. Ed Vergara spent four years as a commercial real estate broker and senior associate at Premier Apartment Advisors. He has additional experience as a senior associate with Moison Investment Company. Mr. Vergara holds a bachelor of arts in political science from Amherst College. He received his juris doctor from the Santa Clara University School of Law.
