Dylan Sands Pacific Palisades

Dylan Sands is a bilingual honor roll student at Palisades Charter High School, in Los Angeles, California. Prior to joining the school in 2015, Dylan Sands attended Pacific Palisades' St. Matthews Parish, where he excelled in academics and wrote a poem in eighth grade that was later published.

A lifelong lover of the water, Dylan Sands has won multiple swimming medals in breaststroke and backstroke and is a member of his high school's surf team. His athletic pursuits also include lacrosse and rowing. A certified lifeguard through the American Red Cross, Sands has worked as a Los Angeles County junior lifeguard since 2011. Additionally, he is certified in first aid and scuba diving.

Beyond education and athletics, he is the oldest of three children, and leverages that experience when serving as a camp counselor. Dylan Sands also enjoys cooking, surfing with his friends, and learning how to drive. An avid traveler, he spent the past two summers in Alaska, Ecuador, and Peru.
