Thomas has been a licensed professional in the beauty industry for 10 years. Beginning in his home state of Michigan, Thomas worked as a full time stylist at Eleven West Salon and Spa. His pursuit for education landed him a position with Matrix Hair Care as a Master Artistic Educator, with this Thomas was able to better his craft and learn how to share knowledge with other stylist through stage presentation.
2007 was a great year for Thomas, he traveled to New York to work on the Matrix lifestyle brand Sleek.look and Amplify print campaign. With this being his first professional marketing shoot that reached nation wide Thomas knew there was more to the profession then being behind the chair. Back home Thomas had a strong desire to open his own studio and in November of 2008 Thomas Blondi Salon opened its doors. Through this, Thomas built a relationship with Pakmode Media + Marketing founder Tim Adkins and Bil Saeed and they help Thomas brand his image with the EMU campus and throughout the city building a strong and loyal clientele for the salon. With great leadership and an amazing select group of staff Thomas Blondi salon soon became the #1 Salon in the city of Ypsilanti. Thomas also had a love for writing and began writing a fashion column and blog for EMYOU Magazine. Scouting models, doing hair and makeup, pulling outfits for photo-shoots and writing and editing the articles, Thomas quickly began building his portfolio.
Hairdressers against AIDS marked the largest movement in American history. L'Oréal & UNESCO: an international company and a UN organization joined forces to fight the spread and impact of AIDS by means of a program targeted at hairdressing professionals everywhere in the world. Thomas was one of the individual stylist chosen to help support the cause and he traveled back to New York City to sit in at the UN building to use his voice and his power for a world without aids.
With all his successes, Thomas was hand selected by Matrix to participate in a group of stylist to help push the Company into becoming the strongest educational force in the beauty industry. In New York, Matrix Artistic Directors Brian and Sandra Smith led the group on a year long journey on how to take presentation and hairstyling skills to the next level.
In 2011 Thomas took an opportunity to sell his salon and move to Phoenix Arizona. Before he could unpack his bags Thomas worked his talents immediately on a photo-shoot for Fitness Model Magazine and doing hair for an episode of Vh1 Baseball Wives. Thomas is continuing his success with Matrix and is currently the Creative Director for Zoltons Salon & Day Spa where he has been nominated for this years 2015 Colorist of the year from The Best of Scottsdale Magazine, and currently working with NBC Arizona Mid Day as a regular beauty corespondent.

The curl culture has been lost. We are bringing it back.
Too many men are on the cusp of growing their hair out with little direction on how and what the end result will be. New Folk is for that man in a suit, rockin’ a Bob Dylan inspired shape. The result: awe inspiring.
Lean shapes punctuated by alterations within the interior (including square). Freehand sculpted fronts and length in the perimeter are also important points of interest. New Folk features Curl Construct, Curl Control, Boost Cream and Boost Powder - all designed to induce and support the texture while allowing the curl to move.
