Samuel “Sam” Pollina, DMD, is a respected dental practitioner based in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who has extensive experience in caring for patients with sleep apnea, snoring, and CPAP intolerance. As owner and president of both Western PA Dental Sleep Medicine and the Annapolis Snoring and Sleep Apnea Center, Dr. Sam Pollina provides oral appliance therapy to patients in hopes of helping them achieve a better nights sleep. He is also accredited as a DMEPOS supplier with The Compliance Team.
Since 1997 Dr. Pollina has guided his private practice, New Dimensions Dentistry and Orthodontics, where he undertakes exams and cleanings and performs root canals and extractions as patients require. He also fabricates crowns and partial and complete dentures.
With a DMD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Samuel Pollina has been practicing in various capacities for 35 years. For close to two decades he consulted with mentor Dr. Andrew Michanowicz, who founded the Department of Endodontics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Pollina also developed experience practicing within Shadyside Hospital’s Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and serving as the worker’s compensation dentist for the City of Pittsburgh and US Airways.
