Serving patients in the Clifton, New Jersey, community and beyond, Dr. Raymond Reiter is an orthopedic physician who has an extensive track record of providing positive support to professional and amateur athletes. Dr. Raymond Reiter’s daily responsibilities with North Jersey Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute include evaluating athletic and orthopedic injuries. He also provides PRP joint injections under fluoroscopy as necessary.
Dr. Reiter’s educational background includes studying medicine at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and, ultimately, receiving his MD from UMDNJ-Rutgers Medical School. He undertook both a general surgery internship and a rehabilitation residency at New York University, and rounded out his education through a sports medicine fellowship at Braintree Hospital and Tufts University.
Respected in his field, Dr. Reiter authored the chapter “Achilles Heel” for the textbook, Disorders of the Heel, Rear Foot, and Ankle. He has also spoken at the Third Annual Meadowlands Sports Medicine Symposium, giving a lecture titled “Differential Diagnosis of Shoulder Pain”.
