McDonough, MD, has in-depth experience in all aspects of complex neck and back procedures.
Dr. McDonough’s deep interest in spine surgery reflects his grandfather’s experience playing professional football. After undergoing a spinal procedure in the 1960s, he died of a blood clot before getting to know his grandson.
Dr. McDonough completed residency training under renowned spine surgeon Dr. Rick Delamarter at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he developed his interest and skill in this area of medicine. He subsequently completed intensive fellowship training under Dr. Thomas Zdeblick and gained exposure to the latest techniques informing surgery of the spine.
Outside of his work in the medical field, Dr. Paul W. McDonough maintains a strong connection with his local community. During his free time, he enjoys activities such as hunting and wildlife management.
