Board certified in his field, Dr. Mark Fesen practices with Central Care, PA, in Great Bend and Wichita, Kansas. Emphasizing a multi-disciplinary approach to care, Dr. Mark Fesen has experience diagnosing and treating a diversity of cancer types, including lymphomas and leukemias.
Pursuing undergraduate studies at Rutgers University, Dr. Fesen gained early ward clerk experience in his field at New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center. He subsequently pursued molecular pharmacology studies at Oral Roberts University and completed his MD at Rutgers University. His advanced training includes work at Roger Williams General Hospital/Brown University.
A University of Kansas assistant professor, Dr. Fesen is taking part in clinical research focused on the protocols for phase 2 and 3 cancer. He also participates in investigations organized by the National Cooperative Group Clinical Trials and serves as Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine assistant professor. Among Dr. Mark Fesen’s responsibilities in his professional community is as vice-chair for oncology with the National Physicians Counsel for Healthcare Policy.
