Dr. Berman studied at the Tulane University School of Arts and Sciences, earning a Bachelor of Science in 1985. After completing the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program at Columbia University, he pursued his studies in medicine at The State University of New York Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine (SUNY Downstate), where he earned his medical degree in 1991. After graduation, Dr. Berman trained at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in Midtown Manhattan as a General Surgery Resident for five years, followed by a plastic surgery residency at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center. During this period, Dr. Keith Berman presented at symposiums and received publication in the Annals of Plastic Surgery.
In addition to serving on the staff of St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center, Dr. Keith Berman runs a private practice in New York City. With an office in the Upper East Side of Manhattan and a Class C American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc., ambulatory surgery center on Staten Island, Dr. Berman performs a variety of cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures in an outpatient setting. He primarily provides breast lifts, breast augmentation, and breast reduction surgery for women, completing more than 2000 procedures since 1998.
