An internal medicine specialist with more than three decades of professional experience, Dr. John Krehlik currently operates his own private sleep medicine practice with locations in both Anchorage and Juneau. The only sleep medicine physician in Juneau to have obtained board certification, he treats patients who have obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), a disorder that causes a sleeping person to stop breathing for short periods throughout the night. In addition to helping patients achieve relief from OSA, Dr. John Krehlik treats restless leg syndrome and a full range of other conditions affecting proper sleep.
A graduate of the University of Chicago’s Pritzker School of Medicine, Dr. Krehlik began his career as a general practitioner. After working with the United States Public Health Service and the Veterans Administration for several years, he opened his own private practice in internal medicine in 1985. In 2002, he opened his sleep clinic and eventually closed his internal medicine practice to focus on helping patients with sleep disorders. Dr. John Krehlik can be reached at his Anchorage office at 907-743-8987 and his Juneau office at 907-789-6766.
