A successful neurologist, Dr. James C. Johnston currently serves as the director of Global NeuroCare, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing sustainable neurological care for the most vulnerable populations in the most impoverished regions. He is an honorary Professor of Neurology at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, where he has served since inception of the residency training program. Dr. Johnston is the founder of NeuroCare®, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing patient care, physician training and medical research in developing countries such as Ethiopia (www.GlobalNeuroCare.org). He has published over 75 peer reviewed journal articles, book chapters, letters and manuscripts.
