Dr Hitesh Patel

An experienced cardiologist, Dr. Hitesh Patel began working toward a career in the medical field in 1992, when he enrolled at the University of Maryland to study biochemistry. Dr. Hitesh Patel completed the undergraduate degree in three years and graduated magna cum laude. He was also a Golden Key Honor Society inductee in all three years, and he earned the top biochemistry student award in 1995 upon graduation.

Following the completion of his undergraduate degree, Dr. Hitesh Patel earned his doctor of medicine from the same institution and later completed residencies in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease at the Temple University Medical Center.

Dr. Patel is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He has been employed by Cardiology Associates of Frederick since 2008. Severing Frederick County and adjacent areas, the Maryland-based practice provides heart-related diagnostic and treatment services, including nuclear cardiology and stress testing, Holter monitoring, and transesophageal echocardiograms.
