A board-certified general surgeon with more than 20 years of experience performing complex vascular surgeries, Dr. Henry Tarlian is committed to providing patients with effective and minimally invasive vascular surgery options. Dr. Henry Tarlian serves as director of the educational program for the Western Vascular Institute’s Vein Center, which trains surgeons from around the world, and he cofounded the institute’s vascular catheterization lab. He also treats patients as the institute's principal vascular surgeon.

Dr. Henry Tarlian earned his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine, followed by a residency at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, New Jersey, where he spent his final year as chief resident in the department of surgery. He also completed a fellowship with Arizona Health Institute in Phoenix in vascular/endovascular surgery. He is the former chief of surgery at Arizona Kidney Disease & Hypertension Centers, and has published numerous articles in medical journals worldwide.
