A board-certified medical oncologist with prior experience in Missouri, Dr. Gregory “Greg” Nanney of Great Bend and Newton, KS, began his formal pursuit of a career in medicine after completing his undergraduate studies at East Central University. During his time at this Ada, Oklahoma, institution, Dr. Greg Nanney focused his studies on biology and physics. Also minoring in chemistry and mathematics, the future Great Bend and Newton, KS-based physician earned his bachelor’s degree in just over three years.
Subsequently, Dr. Greg Nanney gained admittance to the University of Oklahoma. As a medical student, he garnered membership with the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and received both the Solomon Papper Human Scholarship Award and the Lange Medical Publishing Award. After graduating with distinction with his doctor of medicine, Dr. Nanney remained at the university to complete an internal medicine residency and a hematology and oncology fellowship.
Since 2013, Dr. Gregory Nanney has drawn on his accomplished educational background and more than three decades of medical experience to care for patients at Central Care Cancer Center, a practice with locations across Kansas and Missouri. His current professional responsibilities also extend to a position as President of the Medical Staff at Newton Medical Center in Newton, KS.
