Dr. George Hatzigiannis draws on over a decade of experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery to operate a private practice in Boston, Massachusetts. Previously, Dr. George Hatzigiannis treated patients in the communities of Peabody and Lynn, Massachusetts, as a surgeon at Salem Peabody Oral Surgery.
Holding a DMD from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and an MD from the University of Connecticut, Dr. George Hatzigiannis has dedicated much of his career to advancing the fields of oral and maxillofacial surgery. His research has appeared in publications including the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Journal of Biomedical Materials Research, and he has lectured at conferences in locations ranging from Buffalo, New York, to Puerto Rico. In addition to promoting a fuller understanding of bone grafting, orthognathic surgery, fibro-osseous disorders, and other matters relevant to dental surgery, Dr. George Hatzigiannis has also expanded his own knowledge by completing a substantial number of continuing education courses.
Dr. Hatzigiannis also draws on his professional skills to help those less fortunate than himself through his work with MassHealth and Small Smiles Dental Centers to provide quality dental care to underserved communities. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the world through both travel and photography, as well as spending time with his family.
