Before establishing himself as a board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. David Kim of the Tucson, AZ, region graduated with a BA in biochemistry from Northwestern University. While pursuing his degree, he stayed active on campus as the Wildcat Club’s vice president of alumni affairs and a member of the Intrafraternity Council. Dr. David Kim subsequently matriculated at the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, where he went on to earn his MD.
Following medical school, Dr. David Kim began his postgraduate training, first undertaking a residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. In his final year at the college, he distinguished himself as his class’ chief resident. Dr. Kim then completed his formal training with a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Wisconsin. After that, he secured board certification from the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO).
In the time since, Dr. David Kim has been recertified by the ABO and enjoyed more than two decades of experience as an ophthalmologist. Today, he draws on this experience to care for patients in the Tucson, AZ, region through Arizona Eye Consultants, a practice he joined in 2019.
