An ophthalmologist with more than 15 years of experience, Dr. Anthony Roberts provides a wide range of treatment options for his patients at Shady Grove Ophthalmology in Rockville, Maryland. Educated at Howard University and the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dr. Anthony Roberts went on to fulfill his general internship at Providence Hospital. He followed that with a fellowship in ocular pathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington, D.C. From there, Dr. Roberts undertook a residency in ophthalmology at Stony Brook University and Nassau University Medical Center before launching an enduring private practice. Since then, Dr. Roberts has founded Shady Grove Ophthalmology, completed more than 55,000 refractive procedures, and developed comprehensive expertise in such areas as LASIK, refractive lens exchange, PRK, and cataract extractions.
