Donald L. Koch leverages more than four decades of experience in financial services to lead St. Louis, Missouri-based Koch Asset Management, directing its investment efforts in the financial sector. He draws on knowledge gained as director of research and senior vice president at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, which he represented on the Federal Open Market Committee. Donald L. Koch served as an associate economist for the committee while increasing the output of Atlanta’s Federal Reserve Bank by nearly 100 percent. Mr. Koch also oversaw operations as an executive officer and chief economist with Barnett Banks of Florida, spearheading its research and investor relations initiatives for nearly a decade before the firm’s acquisition by Bank of America.
A graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program, Mr. Koch also holds a BA in economics from Pincipia College in Illinois, as well as an MA from Trinity College in Connecticut. Over the course of his career, he has instructed aspiring financial professionals in banking and economics as a professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Jacksonville University, and the University of North Florida.
