While working at Skanska, I was leading the development of a cutting-edge smart building solution as a product owner/manager. This solution is a mobile application for offices that enhances the users’ experience by allowing them to control and interact with all the building’s systems (lighting, parking, access, room utilization, temperature, etc) I was coordinating the development of this new product with four technology providers (parking, access, indoor navigation, and BMS) and one software development house; I was accountable for planning and prioritizing the projects’ activities and financials.
Develop a detailed business model and a prototype of a cabin bag with a system which harvests energy from its wheels. By walking with this bag for 20 minutes the users will generate enough energy to make calls for one hour. Product market fit was achieved by using the Lean Startup methodology and feedback about the MPV concept was gathered from approximately 150 people. The team confirmed that lack of access to electricity during trips was a real problem for most of the travelers and proved that the eBag with the innovative energy system was an interesting solution to this problem. Even though the MVP met the customers´ needs and expectations, due to technical limitations further implementation of the system was not feasible.
I have attended the International Student Energy Summit ISES (Trondheim -Norway). During the summit, I was the leader of the winning team in the “Statkraft Case Competition”, which consisted in designing (in less than sixteen hours) and presenting a coherent and plausible energy scenario for the United Kingdom energy mix 2050.
