Responsibilities: Owned the localization quality assurance which consisted of managing, analyzing, and improving the complete process. Furthermore, developed and presented plans for expanding my team’s scope and responsibilities.
Impact: Evaluated 6 vendors, negotiated flexible contract terms plus a 20% price reduction, and fully defined an outsourced quality assurance process. This resulted in potential 4x lead-time reductions. In addition, I assisted in the app’s launch in 3 new languages on Android, iOS, and Web and contributed to decreasing my team’s backlog by nearly 30%.
