Director, G3 Training and Exercises (TREX) for the Third Army/U.S. Army Central. Supervise and lead a Directorate that consists of Colonel/Lieutenant Colonel Branch Chiefs, Officers, NCO's, DA Civilians and contractors for a total of 181 personnel. Directly responsible for planning and executing post deployment training for 6000 Soldiers in Kuwait and thousands of Service members deploying to Afghanistan at Manas, Kyrgyzstan. Responsible for the Command's Exercise and Simulations program consisting of 13 Joint Chief of Staff (JCS) exercises and 5 non-JCS directed exercises in 11 countries in the USCENTCOM AOR. Develop and implement the Commander's Battle staff Training Program and Command Post Exercise Program. Manages a $49.5 million theater training contract, a $7 million JCS Exercise Budget, and a $6.5 million Simulations Program.
