A pediatric dentist with more than two decades of experience, Dr. Deanna Alevizos has treated patients at Metro Dentalcare in Minnesota since 2002. In addition to performing oral health exams, Dr. Deanna Alevizos fills cavities and manages oral issues associated with conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and ADHD. Additionally, she educates parents on the importance of proper oral hygiene and a healthy diet. In recognition of her high standard of patient care, she received the Best Pediatric Dentist honor from Minnesota Monthly in 2016.
Dr. Alevizos holds a bachelor of arts in business from the University of North Dakota, where she was a member of the Mortar Board Society and the National Honor Society. She then earned a four-year DDS from the University of Minnesota, followed by a master of science in pediatric dentistry from the same institution. When she is not working, Dr. Alevizos enjoys spending time in nature and caring for her two rescue dogs.
