Prior to attending the University of Regina, Darcy Bergen attended Martin Collegiate in Regina, Canada. He began his first job in 1991 at the Western Canadian Brokerage Group as a Financial Advisor. In 1994, Darcy Bergen accepted a position as a Branch Manager at The Height of Excellence (THE) Financial Planning Group Inc, where he earned the title of Top Agent in the Province of Saskatchewan.

Darcy Bergen’s success at The Height of Excellence enabled him to open his own branch, which became the top office in Canada offering life insurance and estate planning. For six years, he also ran Darcy Bergen and Associates. From 1998 to 2000, Darcy Bergen hosted a radio show called Smart Money and a television show called The Money Doctor.

In 2000, Darcy Bergen moved to Arizona to start his own firm, For Life Financial. He later served as a Management Consultant for Steamtrain Entertainment Group, Inc., in Scottsdale; the American Republic Insurance Company in Phoenix; and the Automotive Properties Group in Vancouver.

Darcy Bergen established Clear Solutions for Seniors in 2003 in an effort to help older adults navigate their finances before and after retirement. Through specialized seminars like Senior Money Matters!!, Darcy Bergen focuses on wealth transfer and asset protection strategies. Darcy Bergen believes that having a plan is a critical first step in achieving long-term financial objectives.

Darcy Bergen’s Clear Solutions for Seniors covers many topics including tax management, estate planning, risk management, education funding, investment planning, and legacy planning. The company’s website contains a variety of articles on many subjects pertaining to financial planning, including avoiding probate and gifting strategies.

Darcy Bergen is a Certified Retirement Financial Advisor (CRFA) accredited by The Society of Certified Retirement Financial Advisors.
