A resident of Marietta, Georgia, Daniel Prechtel is an avid cyclist and sailor who enjoys spending as much time as possible in nature. In addition to regularly riding the trails in and around Atlanta, Daniel Prechtel is a supporter of the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, which works toward creating a nationwide network of trails built on former rail lines. He has also donated numerous bicycles to Goodwill Industries to help support individuals in need. A skilled sailor, he is certified by the American Sailing Association and owns a variety of boats, including a 16-foot Hobie catamaran.
In regard to his professional endeavors, Daniel Prechtel has served as president of OneSource Venture Capital since 2012, during which time he has focused on pairing accredited angel investors with aspiring entrepreneurs. He primarily focuses on helping small businesses with first and second-stage funding in excess of $500,000. He previously served eight years as president of Franchise Alliance and studied marketing at Akron University.
