The story is continuing with the materialization of significant reserves in the Basement of Kharir, which have been aggressively developed since 2003.
Production has started end of 1998. The cumulative production of the Block has passed the milestones of 50 Mb and 100 Mb respectively end 2003 and early 2008. Production is now around 60,000 bopd.
An intensive activity, in terms of drilling and development projects, along with the use of innovative technologies, are being implemented to meet this target. In parallel, the Yemeni workforce of TEPY has increased significantly, to over 300 employees. Aggressive training programs have been put in place to bring this workforce rapidly to excellent performance.
