Perform non-linear editing Manage the acquisition of promotion material for editing. Perform program editing and file preparation for online content delivery. Perform duties during production including operating studio camera operation, audio, graphics, switcher, and teleprompter. Perform field production both independently and as support staff. Participate and/or direct crew in live and recorded studio and field productions. Edit and maintain web pages. Upload and manage all local video content on PBS digital platform including PBS.or/video, and PBS Learning Media. Monitor social media trends and provide recommendations for AKPM best practices.
Oversee programming around the clock for channels 33.1 ION & 33.2 Telemundo Alaska. Managed and ingest all commercial traffic, schedules and local programming. I kept the signals consistent and troubleshoot technical issues.
I would log into the main network web servers where I downloaded all available commercial and program times to an EXCEL sheet daily. I'd insert new times and arrange commercials for their new availability.
