During Operation Enduring Freedom, he gained extensive experience designing counter-insurgency operations and counter-radicalization strategies for engaging the Islamic world with the goal of countering violent extremism. He is recognized for playing a key role in leading the integration of strategic communications and information operations across multiple government agencies, as part of the global counter-terrorist response.
The recipient of an MBA from Babson College, Dan Gabriel also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, and a Master’s in International Affairs, from George Washington University. Mr. Gabriel has received numerous honors and accolades over his career, including being named one of “40 Under 40” by the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA).
