Recognized as a Fast 50 Innovator by Fast Company Magazine, Dr. Dale Brill is an experienced entrepreneurial leader and major proponent of employing behavioral economics in executive decision-making. As senior vice president of research and community development with the Orlando Economic Partnership, Dr. Dale Brill draws upon over 20 years of relevant business experience in driving regional prosperity through economic development practices.
Dr. Dale Brill previously spent four years as the founder and self-titled obsessive thinker of Thinkspot, Inc. He created the public policy consultancy agency in 2013 and provided a wide range of economic and marketing services for clients in both the public and private sectors, including the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. He has also held executive roles with the Florida Chamber Foundation, Executive Office of Florida Governor Charlie Crist, Visit Florida, and General Motors Corporation.
Dr. Brill holds a bachelor's in communications from North Carolina's Lenoir-Rhyne University as well as a PhD in the subject with a focus on advertising from the University of Tennessee, where he earned the Graduate Teaching Associate Award. In addition to community leadership through economic policy development, he has volunteered in the past with the Children's Home Society of Florida, Imagine Tallahassee Tax Extension Planning, and the Florida Research Consortium.
