Over the course of his career, health care professional Craig Richardville has used information technologies to support the well-being of provider organizations and to improve patient services. He recently completed a 21-year tenure as a senior vice president and the chief information and analytics officer for Carolinas HealthCare System. In this position, Craig Richardville introduced innovations that brought the company to prominence as a 14-year recipient of the Most Wired Award.
Craig Richardville also guided the company to two Most Wired Advanced Awards as well as the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society’s Stage 7 credential (its highest designation) for its acute and ambulatory care.
Craig Richardville introduced several innovations to the company, including the first remote-hosting of Epic software as a step toward a cloud-based stack, while simultaneously saving time and financial resources through efficiency optimizations. He initially joined Carolinas HealthCare System as a vice president of information services, a position that he accepted following service as a vice president and the executive director of ProMedica Health System's Vanguard Health Ventures.
