Clint Groom

Fashion designer Clint Groom serves as senior design director with American Eagle Outfitters in New York. He holds responsibility for the design of men's pants and is particularly accomplished in the realm of denim garments. Clint Groom invented American Eagle's Flex Design, which centers on a denim with a high degree of stretch. He oversaw creation of this new fabric from a mere concept to a freshly engineered, tangible fabric.

Clint Groom holds a BA from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science. While studying, he served as the captain of his Division I soccer team. Soccer continues to be a major factor in Mr. Groom's life, and he routinely travels the world to compete in tournaments with his team.

When he is not playing soccer, he often can be found surfing. Surfing is one of his greatest passions, and he tries to seek out a good place to surf whenever he travels.
