Chris Moehle is a firm believer in the power of robotics to improve economies and communities. To that end, he serves as managing director of The Robotics Hub in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Chris Moehle founded the robotics-based venture capital fund with the goal of increasing the amount of companies that tackle society's most pressing challenges.
Since starting the Robotics Hub, Chris Moehle has taken board or advisory positions with Agility Robotics, Allvision IO, and Module amongst. He is also the chairman and CEO of JDV Robotics, which is an early-stage assistive robotics software enterprise. He previously served as an associate director of new ventures at the National Robotics Engineering Center, where he was responsible for exploring and identifying applications for robotics in the energy and health care industries.
Earlier in his career, Chris Moehle founded Blue Ridge Creole Products to support coastal restoration and worked in licensing and ventures at the University of Virginia, where he was an American Heart Association Fellow.
