Since 1997, Chris Endfinger, MD, has worked as an emergency room attending physician. He practices with the clinical staffing organization TeamHealth Southeast and provides emergency medical care at hospitals throughout Alabama. Between 2004 and 2007, Dr. Chris Endfinger served as medical director of the Gadsden Regional Medical Center Emergency Department.
After receiving a BA in biochemistry from the Church of Christ-affiliated Lipscomb University, Dr. Chris Endfinger earned his MD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He remained at UAB to fulfill a three-year residency and in 1996 obtained board certification in family practice. Extensively experienced in the application of various life support techniques, Dr. Endfinger has completed the American College of Surgeons’ Advanced Trauma Life Support training program and maintains certification in advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support.
Together with fellow congregants of his church, Dr. Chris Endfinger has participated in three mission trips to Honduras, where he performed medical services for residents without adequate access to treatment facilities. He also donates to Compassion International, a Christian child sponsorship organization that provides assistance for more than 1 million children in need throughout the world.
