Charlotte Johnson (Otto Bremer)

A senior executive with a career that spans a quarter of a century, Charlotte Johnson currently oversees the multimillion-dollar Otto Bremer Trust (OBT). While working toward her bachelor of arts in anthropology at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, she gained admittance to the liberal arts and sciences honor society Phi Beta Kappa Society. Charlotte Johnson joined the OBT shortly after graduating from Macalester with honors and has remained with the organization ever since.

As co-chief executive officer of the OBT, she manages the organization as stipulated in the Trust Instrument and handles its responsibilities as a bank holding company, its relationship with the regulators, its operations as a grant-making foundation, and its general investment operations, including its significant vested interest in the Bremer Financial Corporation (BFC), the principle asset of the OBT. She also serves the OBT as a trustee and the BFC as a member of its Board of Directors.
