Chandler Villacruz has built an accomplished career in marketing over the last 16 years. A graduate of Texas A&M University, he served as a marketing intern at Texas Home Security during his senior year. This experience allowed him to acquire foundational market analysis, branding, and print advertising skills. Chandler Villacruz subsequently relocated to Los Angeles, where he obtained his master of science in marketing from the University of Southern California.
Upon graduating, Chandler Villacruz worked as a marketing associate at Healthy Living, a Los Angeles-based retailer of wellness products. Under the leadership of the firm’s marketing manager, he contributed to a number of print marketing campaigns. Mr. Villacruz was also instrumental in the development of Healthy Living’s first digital advertising strategies. After four years with the firm, he advanced to the role of marketing director at the company’s headquarters in San Francisco.
In 2008, Mr. Villacruz received an offer to join restaurant review startup Food Rates as a senior marketing manager. Since accepting the position, he has expanded the company’s marketing department and directed a number of successful social-media advertising campaigns.
