An accomplished executive with experience across a variety of industries over a 30-year career, Caleb Fort leverages his business success to help better his community and home state of South Carolina through his support of civic and nonprofit organizations. In addition to being a past president of the board of the South Carolina Governor's School of Science and Math Foundation, Caleb Fort has held board positions with the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce, and the South Carolina Historical Society, among other groups.
In regard to his professional pursuits, Caleb Fort serves as president of QMX Mobile Health, which provides on-site diagnostic and imaging services to hundreds of assisted living and skilled nursing facilities throughout North Carolina. He previously served 21 years as co-chairman of The Merit Group, a middle market supplier to the commercial and residential paint industry serving the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Mr. Fort began his career as a sales manager with the Anheuser-Busch distributor DuBard, Inc., after earning a bachelor's degree in English and business administration from the University of South Carolina.
