A native and longtime resident of Memphis, Tennessee, Brian Cox is a Murray State University alumnus who began his career as a sales representative with Lose Brothers in 1998 before founding Angles Media in 2001. Based in the Greater Memphis Area, Brian Cox started the company as a full-service marketing enterprise, but shifted into telecommunications in 2005 where it became the country's largest prepaid competitive local exchange carrier before it was sold four years later.
The following year, Brian Cox embarked on a new business venture as he founded King Homes Realty LLC to manage his portfolio of investment properties. Mr. Cox later served as CEO of Prepaidworx LLC, a company he founded to allow merchants to provide customers with access to prepaid wireless pins and international long distance cards.
Additionally, Brian Cox has served as CEO of the Oklahoma-based carrier True Wireless since 2011. His most recent business venture is Surge Holdings, of which he serves as Chairman and CEO and leads the public companies subsidiaries activity in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency markets, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
